Drabble time! Narnia - 'Go Me!'

Title: Go Me!

Peter kicked the unicorn into a gallop, knowing that Edmund was right behind him, two brothers united against the common foe. Treachery was forgotten. As they galloped into battle, he saw the flicker of a banner unfurling, bright scarlet and gold, and felt his heart leap at the sight of the Narnian colours.

After the battle, when he actually saw the banner, of course, treachery was right back at the forefront of his mind.

'Edmund!'

'Whaaat?' Edmund was in the middle of taking his chainmail off, but managed still to look entirely innocent and charming.

Peter couldn't find the words ... he just threw the banner down in front of his brother, the words 'Go Me!' emblazoned bravely in gold upon the crimson.

'It's very you!' called Edmund as Peter stormed off.

Bwahaha... Well, technically all that the unicorn should mean is that he's a virgin (and depending on your mythology, pure of heart/mind). Considering his youth, the first at least is hardly far-fetched. ^_^

Well, you'd think so, yes. But it really is a shockingly blatant phallic metaphor at the same time :P

Oh lord, yeah. Always has been. The whole unicorn/virgin thing has always been a huge blaring phallic metaphor. And the use of ground unicorn horn to prevent...infirmity of the flesh...

... there is probably some crackfic in there somewhere...
