Narnia Drabble for a challenge

I've tried to fulfil them all. Edmund/Caspian, nothing graphic.

They may be Talking Horses, but they still like the delicious scratch of the body brush, and so Edmund finds himself in the courtyard before the race, vigorously applying it and trying hard to forget the terms of the very private bet he and Caspian made, very drunkenly, before teatime the night before.

'And if I win?'
'Yes?'
'I claim ... your heart.'

He's already claimed Edmund's body, to their mutual satisfaction. Caspian, pure, thoroughbred Telmarine and yet Narnian through and through ... surely he already has what he wants?

Why the bet?

Why must he ask for something Edmund isn't sure he can give?

It's getting to the point where I need to organise my Narnia fics by AU, though.

Bedlam got me into using this. I have all my Narnia stuff in one folder, organised into tabs by series/au, and into threads within tabs and subtrees within threads... it's GREAT.

I'm using folders within folders of Googledocs, which I love, and which makes it nice and easy for tea_fiend to keep an eye on me and my ficcing, also.
